A detailed buying guide for the Sencillo Black LE Black Piramide 60 No. 4 (2024) box of 25, covering flavor, strength, construction, and who should buy it.
Quick answer
The Sencillo Black LE 2024 Piramide 60 No. 4 offers a medium-to-full-bodied smoking experience with a complex blend of Nicaraguan, Honduran, and Mexican tobaccos. It's best for experienced smokers who appreciate a box purchase.
Flavor profile and strength
The Sencillo Black LE 2024 uses a Nicaraguan Habano wrapper over aged tobaccos from Nicaragua, Honduras, and Mexico. This combination produces a medium-to-full-bodied smoke with notes of spice, leather, earth, and subtle sweetness. The 6x60 Piramide format allows the flavors to develop gradually, making it a 60-90 minute smoke.
Box purchase considerations
This cigar comes in a box of 25, which offers a consistent aging potential if you have proper storage. The 2024 limited edition release means availability may be limited, so buying the box secures a supply. However, if you haven't tried this blend before, consider seeking a single first.
Decision rules for the Sencillo Black LE 2024
- Choose if you want a box for aging: The box of 25 is ideal if you have a humidor and plan to age these cigars. The limited edition nature means they may improve over time.
- Choose if you prefer medium-to-full-bodied smokes: This Piramide offers a robust profile with spice and earth. It's not a mild cigar, so it suits experienced smokers.
- Skip if you are new to cigars or prefer mild flavors: The strength and complexity may overwhelm beginners. Try a milder cigar first.
