Quick Answer
Choose the A. Fuente Opus6 Blue Travel Humidor if you need a portable, limited-edition travel case for a few special cigars. Choose the Liga Privada S.T. Dupont Collector’s Set if you want a secure, high-capacity humidor with biometric access for your collection.
Portability vs. Capacity
The A. Fuente Opus6 Blue Travel Humidor is designed for travel, holding a box of 6 cigars in a sleek, compact case. It’s easy to pack and carry, making it ideal for short trips or taking a few prized smokes to an event.
The Liga Privada S.T. Dupont Collector’s Set is a larger, more stationary piece. It includes a 100-count biometric humidor, which is not meant for daily travel but offers secure, long-term storage for a substantial collection.
Security and Features
The S.T. Dupont set stands out with its biometric fingerprint lock, providing high security for your cigars. This is a rare feature in humidors and adds peace of mind if you store valuable cigars at home or in an office.
The Opus6 Travel Humidor focuses on simplicity and elegance. It lacks high-tech security but is more straightforward to use on the go. Both are limited editions, so availability may be a factor.
Decision Rules: Opus6 vs S.T. Dupont Set
- Choose the Opus6 Travel Humidor if:: You need a portable, limited-edition case for 6 cigars for travel or short outings. You value a classic, understated design from a legendary cigar brand. Ideal for the cigar enthusiast who wants a premium travel case, not a full storage solution.
- Choose the S.T. Dupont Collector’s Set if:: You want a high-capacity humidor (100 cigars) with advanced security features like a biometric lock. You are building a collection and need a secure, display-worthy centerpiece. Best for the serious collector who prioritizes security and storage volume over portability.
